Alfaparfs new colour range is free from all the nasties which can cause irritation on the scalp they have completely removed ammonia, alcohol, MEA, silicones and PPD from their range leaving only the best ingredients to create the best, least harmful colour for Brisbane’s best colourists and their clientele.

The new colorwear range has arginine-based patented technology. Most of you are probably asking what arginine is and why it is a good thing to have in a colour formula? Well let Brisbane’s best Colourists break it down a little…

Arginine is a compound of natural origin. It is not a synthetic alkaliser, meaning it is an amino acid which are like the building blocks of the protein structure for the hair. As the range no longer has ammonia or MEA within the formula, the arginine is what helps the color attach to the cuticle of the hair. For our clients this means their colours are gentler on the hair fiber, reduces damage to the hair, helps hair maintain strength during the coloring process and helps maintain the hairs natural hydration. To go with that it also allows the colour to penetrate further into the hair’s cuticle layer allowing increased colour retention and prevents the colour from fading.
